About The Slime Company

This is Katy Custard when she was 10 years and the reason why we set up The Slime Company.  Katy and many of her friends were obsessed with making slime and were always in the kitchen mixing ingredients and getting it all over the kitchen, in the carpet, on the walls etc!  Despair would often become her poor mother and then one day she decided to embrace the slime making community and join in. 

One morning before school, Katy took advantage of her Mother’s graphic design skills and together they designed The Slime Company Logo.  Katy knew she wanted a flamingo and splashes of colour to represent slime and gave these instructions to her keen and talented Mother Jos.

Then with her web design skills the Mother of Katy was able to set up an online shop and the rest is history.

Three years later and the whole family is involved with the Slime Shop.  Primarily a mother and daughter team, they both process the slime orders and sometimes when there’s lots of orders, brother Jack helps with labelling the pots and filling up the little activator bottles.  Its a family run business and purchasing the ingredients and packaging materials, maintaining the website and facebook page are just some of the key parts of running this successful Slime Shop.
