Refunds
Due to the handmade nature of our slime, all orders are final sale. If you have any problem with your order, please contact us within the first 24hours of the delivery. We cannot issue refunds for handmade slime.
Only Slime Kits, Slime Ingredients and toys can be returned for a refund and this must be within 7 days of delivery. You must pay for the postage and your refund will be issued once the items have been returned.
For slime orders that are returned to us by Royal Mail because of uncollected orders from the Post Office due to recipients not being home when delivery has been attempted you will not be given a refund for slime. You will only be refunded for slime ingredients and toys minus the initial postage cost. If you wish for your order to be resent you will need to pay the postage again to re-send the order.
We will only accept returns for slime Kits, ingredients and toys as long as the items are returned in an unused condition. Refunds will be issued minus the initial postage cost and the buyer must pay the postage to return the item.
Prices
All prices are subject to variation and due to the cost and availability of ingredients, prices may increase or decrease without notice.
Delivery
Most slime orders are made to order and all orders are shipped within 5 business days of the order being placed. Slime Kits, Toys and Ingredients that do not contain a handmade slime are usually shipped within 24 hours of the order being placed. We use the standard Royal Mail First Class postal service or if you live local to LS29 (Ilkley, Otley, Menston and surrounding areas) you may choose to collect the order. For large orders ParcelForce 48 is used. If you are not home when your order is delivered it is at the discretion of Royal Mail if they leave the parcel in a safe place outside your house. If you have to collect your parcel from your local Post Office you must collect it within 18 days or what is stated on your delivery receipt. Please bear in mind that handmade slime is a perisable product and the sooner you collect your order the better.
Slime Orders for Gifts
If you are purchasing handmade slime as a gift please do not purchase weeks in advance of giving your gift. Slime left without contact will melt into a liquid. If you purchase your slime in November we cannot guarantee it will be in perfect condition for Christmas.
Overseas Orders
UPDATED 27/2/ 2022 – Currently we do not ship outside of the UK.
We are a very small family business and The Slime Company have no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by the recipient. Due to the nature of the handmade product any slime items that are returned due to unpaid customs and tax charges will not be refunded. We will however refund resellable items such as slime kits and other items that are not handmade minus the postage fee.
